Long Time No Blog

I guess it's time for me to jump back in the saddle. We have been sick, sick, sick. The more kids you have, the longer it takes for the bug to get out of the house. We are officially out of children, so I think we're done now. What a relief. Hopefully in a few more days everyone will be back to sleeping like normal. I just wish Little-G would sleep through the night again. He started sleeping through the night right before we left on vacation in December, but when everyone got sick he stopped and hasn't done it since. Lately he is getting up 3-4 times a night. I'm exhausted! I don't have a problem letting him cry himself back to sleep, but he doesn't. He just lays there and yells out in these weird loud bursts. It's very hard to sleep with, especially since he is in our room. The other 2 kids just naturally started sleeping good, so I don't know what to do with this guy. He doesn't even take naps really, so I don't know where his energy comes from.

So nothing much exciting here. We're just glad to finally be getting better and not sicker. Not going to church this morning yet though because one of the little ones is still having a little extra rumbling down under if you know what I mean. Hopefully everyone is feeling better by midweek, because it's going to be getting near 60 degrees! I think I'll try to take the kids to the zoo this week to finally get out of the house and get some fresh air. It will be so nice to go when it isn't freezing and isn't raining.

One exciting thing is that I will be standing up in my very good friend's wedding in July. We're going next week to try on the dress. I'm very excited!!

Here are finally some new pictures:

I didn't end up taking many pictures when we went to the Dells, so I took these from Aunt-K. Above we have Big-G laughing in the hotel room, Little-G's first water park experience, Middle-G splashing with Aunt-K. I never got to blog about it, but we had the best time.

Here is Middle-G having his first painting experiencing. We actually didn't think he would have the attention span for this, but he did well. He eventually decided just to paint both his hands.

Here is Big-G painting. This is probably his favorite thing about the Dells. He can sit in there for hours.

Here is Big-G a few days after we got home. This is the night before he got sick. I should have seen the signs. He doesn't usually crawl underneath the coffee table for a nap.

Meanwhile, Middle-G took advantage of Big-G not feeling well and played with his favorite toy that Big-G doesn't usually let him touch. Notice the ear coming out of the potato's nose area.

Some of the boys having fun outside.
