March MADNESS!!!

March makes me mad. How frustrating is it to have a week of spring weather only to be told we might get 4-7 inches of sloppy snow over the weekend. YUCK! The kids are going to be pretty mad when they find out we have to put winter coats on again too. We should have figured this weather was just too good to last. It was so warm and sunny in the backyard today that Middle-G asked if we could go swimming. It just isn't quite that warm yet! I'm glad we're making the most of this warmth while we have it. We did the zoo on Tuesday and we've been playing outside every day a couple times a day. It's nice to have fresh air and lots of space to burn off all their extra energy. We'll be making another trip to the zoo tomorrow when it is supposed to be 65 degrees!!! I can't wait.

Not much else has been going on this week other than the usual Tuesday School, Rainbows tonight, and our church small group on Friday. I'm taking a spiritual warfare class on Wednesday nights while Big-G is in Rainbows and Middle-G is in Lambs. It seems like it is going to be very good.

I did take Little-G to the doctor on Friday for his 18 month visit. He's still in the 60th to 70th percentiles for head and height. He got his chickenpox shot, but didn't even shed a tear. We also found out that he had a pretty bad double ear infection. He had absolutely no symptoms, so apparently he has a very high pain tolerance. He's such a sweet boy and such a handful also.

Below are some pictures from this week.

These pictures are of Gibson and his absolute favorite outside toy - the shovel. He never sets it down.

Man this kid is getting big!

Big-G is turning out to be a good helper. It's so nice when their old enough to start helping you sometimes.

Here's Daddy shooting some hoops at open gym time before Tuesday School starts.

Here's Little-G running around with his ball. He just keeps yelling, "Watch, Watch!" Now that he knows that word, he doesn't do anything without yelling it first.

Drum roll please!

Here are the pictures I promised. The first new shots in many months. The kids are all probably twice the size they were the last time I downloaded anything new. Most of these are from our trip to the Dells. We went with another family. We both go to the same church, and we also both home school. They have been a huge blessing to our family, and we thoroughly enjoy the time we spend with them. Our kids just love them!

Here are the dad getting ready to do the 3-D mini-golf with the kids.

Arr! Big-G makes a good pirate.

Big-G and his sweet little friends Miss O and Miss L. They actually surprisingly well behaved that weekend!

My dear husband and Mr. J sword fighting each other on the Wii.

Middle-G obviously loving the water!

My boys can't think without their tongues sticking out. I pretty sure they get that from their Nana.

Here's my giant Little-G. He is so happy-go-lucky.

Miss L giving Little-G a hug. She likes to try to be his mommy, and takes very good care of him too! ;)

Big-G and Miss L are sporting some very cheesy smiles.

Middle-G looking sweet at the zoo.

And another one of Middle-G just looking cute. He certainly knows how to put on that cute face when needed.

Hey, I'm Back!

You probably thought I got taken off to bloggers prison for being such a bad blogger, but nope. I'm still here, and I'm back... hopefully. I've been running out of work a lot lately so hopefully that will give me a little time to do the blog. I've got a bunch of pictures on my camera that I hope to load by the weekend.

I have a few pictures from a recent trip to the Dells with another family. We had such a blast. We really tired those kids out, but they did have so much fun. We also are going to the zoo tomorrow for the first time this season, so hopefully we'll have some good weather and get some cute pictures. This warmer weather is getting me so excited for summer. What a joy to not have to bundle everyone up every time we leave the house. I can't wait!

Hopefully before the end of the week I'll post again and get some new pictures on, but I'm sure you'll all believe it when you see it!
