Say Jelly Belly...

The dreaded picture day has come and gone. It was not as bad as I imaged, and we actually got some fantastic pictures. I had practiced with Big-G about smiling nice and looking natural. I told him to say Jelly Belly when they were going t take a picture (I thought it might look normal natural than when he said cheese). It worked and it didn't work. He must have said Jelly Belly a thousand times during that hour. Once they started taking pictures, I couldn't get him to stop saying it. The photographers were getting a kick out of it. Middle-G only cried in the beginning. I can't say he was very cooperative, but at least he wasn't crying. Little-G actually started to get upset in the beginning which he never does. I think there were just too many people talking to him at once. By the end of the sessions, he was almost tipping over. You could see the progression in the pictures of him getting sleepier and sleepier. He actually fell asleep in my arms when we were trying to pick our favorite poses. So maybe next time my family won't have to wait so long for pictures because I won't be so terrified of going.

Otherwise, we are all doing well. Big-G got yet another cold/cough/fever, but he seems to be feeling much better. He went to the doctor today for his 4-year-old check. He's only in the 25th percentile for height, but still trucking along so no worries. He had to get 3 shots, but he only cried a little. I think he thought it was worth it though to get his special treat (a bag of M and M's). I was so proud of him because he actually voluntarily shared some of them with Middle-G (but he made Middle-G finish his lunch before he could have one. I wonder where he got that idea?)

Here are some of our pictures. These are just the raw pictures (not cropped or centered). I'll try to get some of them in the mail soon. I've put a lot more on my Facebook page if any of you have access to that. Here are a couple of my favorites.

We ordered the one with my hubby and his baby in black and white. It's just beautiful.

Don't they look like little gentleman? I hope someday they act like them too!
